The CCS Spot Buffs 4 Inch Foam Pad Kit includes a versatile collection of pads that can be used for spot correction, polishing headlight lenses, and restoring auto glass. These small pads are available in the same varieties as Lake Country’s larger pads, but they are ideally sized for small detailing jobs. Lake Country’s CCS 4 inch Foam Pads are flat full contact buffing pads that work with your circular polisher, dual-action polisher or electric drill to correct problem areas in automotive paint, glass, and hard plastic more easily than ever before.
The smaller polishing surface means you’re only attacking the blemish, not the surrounding area. Scratches and oxidation often occur in particular spots on your vehicle. Rarely is your whole vehicle covered in blemishes. If the majority of your vehicle looks like new, there’s no need to compound the whole thing. In fact you might cause swirls if you use an overly abrasive pad on perfectly good paint. With Spot Buffs, you are only addressing the problem, not creating new ones.
All pads feature Velcro® brand hook & loop fasteners to secure the pad to the backing plate.

2 CCS Orange Light Cutting Foam 4" x 1.25" Pads
- This is an excellent, high density foam with
light cutting power. It works well for applying microfine compounds and
smoothing scratches and swirls. |

2 CCS White
Polishing Foam 4" x 1.25" Pads - This pad features high absorption foam
for the application of waxes, polishes and sealants. This pad has very
little cutting power and works well for application purposes. It’s made of
soft, porous foam so it’s gentle on your paint. They’re also perfect for
polishing metal wheels, bumpers, and mirror covers.

1 CCS Gray Finishing Foam 4" x 1.25" Pad -
Composition is firm enough to withstand added pressure during final
finishing to remove buffer swirls, but it is gentle enough to buff your
vehicle to an attractive luster. Use with machine glaze or finishing polish. |

1 CCS Blue
All Purpose Foam 4" x 1.25" Pad – This is a multi-purpose pad used for
applying glazes, polishes, and waxes. It’s made of closed-cell foam that
will distribute a thin, even layer. The foam has no cut and is dense enough
to spread paste waxes.

1 Hook & Loop 2 ¾” Backing Plate – This backing plate is required for Spot Buffs. Designed just like larger backing plates, this plate has Hook & Loop firmly adhered to one side so you can change pads with ease. At only 2 ¾”, this plate leaves a generous edge on the 4” pads to avoid accidental contact with the paint. This backing plate attaches directly to a circular polisher. It requires a DA adapter for use with a dual action polisher and a drill adapter to be used with your electric drill.

2 oz. Cobra
Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner – Wash used foam and wool pads in
Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner. Dissolve this 2 oz. packet into 2-3 gallons of
water. Soak pads and microfiber tools in the solution for up to 15 minutes
and agitate if necessary. The citrus cleaner quickly breaks up oily residues
within foam and wool to restore the texture of the pads. Let the pads air
dry, backing side up.

2 Cobra Microfiber Towels (16 x 16 inches) –
The Cobra Microfiber Towel is spun from an 80/20 polyester/polyamide blend, producing a highly refined microfiber. The microscopic polyester/polyamide fibers are split with a unique process that creates a “feathered” weave on one side for buffing and looped fibers on the other side, which are excellent for cleaning. This superior “feather” weave results in far greater absorption properties in a virtually lint free network of fibers.

Proper Cleaning- Wash pads by hand using 1 oz. of Cobra Quik Clenz Pad Cleaner mixed in 3-4 gallons of water. Soak pads for up to 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and allow to air dry.
All the pads in the CCS Spot Buffs 4 Inch Foam Pad Kit are suitable replacements for the pads included in Diamondite kits.
